Guided Trips

I live and raise my family here in Ennis, Montana. I'm a full time guide. It's not just some summer job. I fish and guide year round and take it seriously and understand that for most clients, you've already invested so much into travel, lodging, logistics...all to fish the Madison. I don't take that burden lightly and I want to make damn sure you have a good time. Unlike a lot of big fly shops in major metropolitan areas who have multiple permits for multiple rivers and lakes, I have one permit for one river. The best river. I fish the Upper Madison exclusively. Because of that, I feel I have an unparalleled and intimate knowledge of this river that is unmatched by big box outfitters. To reliably find success as a guide requires constant knowledge of what bugs are hatching, what flows are doing, etc. This is only attainable by fishing a river day in and day out.

I also give a damn about our resource. As such, I strongly believe in protecting, preserving, and advocating for our fisheries. This includes subscribing to all the Keep Fish Wet best practices. I do not take it lightly that my business relies on a healthy fishery, and I intend on doing my part to sustain that for future generations.
